What a colorful week we had! From tie dying shirts to sorting and graphing M&M's to singing all our color songs, this was one action packed week.

THEMATIC INSTRUCTION:
This week we concluded our Crazy About Colors unit and began to introduce our next unit All About Me. We focused on colors that related to ourselves as we made a class eye color graph. We also wrote about about our favorite color. We ended the week with RAINBOW DAY where we sorted M&M’s by color and then graphed them, read wonderful color themed books and made crazy Rainbow Hair.
Ask your child to tell you about all the fun we had with colors this week and don’t forget
to show them all the pictures posted below.

- You should have received home your child's first 'Family Homework Project.' The family paper doll project is due by Sept.13th.
- Crazy Hair Day at is Friday Sept. 13th.
- Our class Family Traditions Potluck is Friday, Sep. 20 from 12-1pm. All are invited to bring a cultural dish to share and join us.
